AP Diver gained 12 seconds in 24 hours
I just got my AP diver back from the service center last week. I sent it in because it was gaining 15-17 seconds per day. I just checked today and it gained 12 seconds in 24 hours. This seems like a lot for a watch that was just serviced. Is this normal?
Battle of the giants
you can pick one of the 2 LE Nautilus ... which one do you take? The simple one in PLATINUM (700 pce)the chrono in WHITE GOLD (1300 pce)FYI in have the choice but won't buy one. At that price it's too much above my budgetIF I would have the necessary funds I would go for the simple in platinum
Patek Customer Service Rules
Guys, after being distressed about my new Aquanaut steel bracelet fit issue, I reached out to both the US Distributor Customer Service Dept, and spoke with Yuko who runs customer service. She was fantastic in confirming the part I need and agreeing to overnight it to my AD.Conversely, my AD, Lux Bond & Green in Boston, was similarly fantastic by agreeing to pick up the $225 cost of the link & half and help me out on a different unrelated Rolex issue. I am seriously blown away by the attentive service I received and the level of satisfaction I feel. It is a very good reminder that there are some fabulous ADs out there worth building relationships with.Lastly, I was also very pleased with my deal, which exceeded my expectations enough to bring me into the Patek club. Next up...a nice 5711.One last note, I had also spoken with the Patek specialist at Tourneau (normally not a TRF favorite) and he was equally accommodative on pricing and silliness to overnight a watch in for me
Pam 312 Hour hand not hitting the Markers dead on after two trips to Service Center
Hi All A while back I told you all about a friend's 312 which spent 3+ months with Panerai service center to address the hour hand not hitting the markers dead center at top of the hour. This was after the first month-long round trip to Panerai where *nothing* was done. The watch came back as it was. Well it's back from the shop and apparently up to old tricks. Now granted his seconds hand was not on the 12 marker in his photos like mine were...but what do folks think. Take a look compared with my watch...A clear issue? Unacceptable??? Opinions?I realize Pams are not the most precise due to dial layout, but what do you think? His:Mine:
Why such low interest in the PAM 572?
A 45mm Radiomir 1940 case with a thin new in house automatic movement. There is barely any discussion or reviews on it. The only negative people are gripping is the Automatic print on the dial.
