The new Cartier watch is coupled with a black alligator leather strap
The highlight of the dial is the tourbillon mechanism, presented in its lower part. Due to its special complicated construction, the tourbillon carriage seems to "fly" above the dial. The new Cartier watch is coupled with a black alligator leather strap.
The Golden Incoming...Volume 1
A few weeks back I posted a thread on a rosie incoming... An H serial rose gold rubber clad with the older dial.It was in pretty rough condition but the price was stupid cheap so I purchased. Then I saw pics of Ken's newer I serial 26178OK rose gold rubber clad and decided... Duuuuuude. That looks so much betterSo... Tony Geha (justrolexes) happened to have a minty one and he was good enough to work out a trade+cash deal for me... So here it is, my new Rosie! And again And the newer, diver style case-back And as the title of the thread says... This is volume 1. Pleased stayed tuned to Volume 2 of this series... It's here! My first AP.
My first AP! Went with the new 15202 jumbo. Was having good ol' DSW source a 15300 (which I'm still mulling), but he mentioned yesterday that he had an inbound BNIB 15202 (warranty dated this week) from his AD. I thought about it for a good 30 seconds and pulled the trigger. David had the AD drop ship it to my place and I received it this morning. The thinner case and 39mm size suits my wrists better than the 15400. As has been mentioned before, it wears a lot like a PP 5711 - which is also in my rotation. However, the 15202 bracelet is a bit more comfortable IMHO. I love the patisserie dial and its subtle color changes in different light. The detailing on the watch is insane - up there with my Pateks.Thank you DavidSW for another smooth transaction, and thank you Thomas (TSW) for bracelet sizing advice after some issues with overuse of loctite at the AP factory. Coincidentally, the 15202 arrived the same day I received my always-delayed copy of WatchTime featuring the RO Jumbo. Enough
Great SKD write up..
