Patek Philippe ref. 5104 Brings $576,000 at Antiquorum Sale
On Thursday June 10 bidders watched as Antiquorum’s New York Spring Sale generated $4,511,268. The auction room was filled and 420 bidders registered online. Eighty-three percent of the 364 lots offered were sold, and 114% were sold by value based on the low estimates. Bids came in from Italy, the Netherlands, China, Israel, the Russian Federation, Japan, and the United States. The highlight of the sale was a Patek Philippe ref. 5104. The platinum minute-repeater with skeletonized dial (lot 363) had not previously been offered for sale, and it included the original fitted winding box. Following competition among room, online and telephone bidders, it went to a private collector for $576,000.
