Dubai Watch Week: Reference Of The Middle East
Dubai is like no other city in the world. It is like no other city I know. I realized this fact mere minutes after arriving in the region which today is so legendary in the watch industry. The things most people say about Dubai are mixed with absolute truths along with a lot of (what I've now learned are) misconceptions. I'm writing this report after my first time in Dubai, coming as a guest of the Seddiqi family to experience the first annual Dubai Watch Week.If you've been in the watch industry for any time at all, you've heard of the Seddiqi Group. The family-run business has a reputation that precedes it around the globe, with admirers knowing them as the watch people in Dubai. It might be easy to imagine them as entitled Emirati elites, or rich real estate moguls who sought diversification through selling watches & jewelry, but just the opposite is actually true. The now-deceased, most senior Seddiqi began with a very modest station in life as part of a fisherman family C com
Dievas Oceantimer 1330 Blue Is Nice Budget Diver Watch
There is a lot of competition out there for your diving watch dollars. With so many options, it is hard for us to find that single diving watch that will suffice. Well, for me there is no one watch. Instead I try to stretch my budget out to acquire as many diving watches as I can to satisfy that insatiable hunger. So for that I am happy that Dievas has a nice range of aggressively prices diving watches that embody the modern chic-strong look that many diving watches are adopting. The Oceantimer 1330 Blue has...a metallic blue face, large red toned minute hand, and a striking legibility. The maximum sized minute hand is supposed to allow for supreme visibility under water, and just looks cool. While it is hard to tell in the images, the minute hand is a rich red metallic tone with lots of luminant in the middle. The smaller hour and seconds hand are while, also with luminant. The Dievas doesn't feel the need to make a "huge" watch, so the size of the Oceantimer 1330 is a very sober 42mm.
PO Bracelet micro adjustment?
Is there any sort of adjustment for getting the fit perfect on the current PO or 2011 PO's?With the Rolex sub 14060M there's pin holes in the clasp that allow for some adjusting of sorts. The new Sub-C has glidelock. Is there anything similar or close on the PO's?
Calatrava vs. Royal Oak
Hi Guys,I hope I can get some good advice here.I bought a brand new PP 5127G 2 years ago and love it to bits.Unfortunately, I spotted an Ap Royal Oak 15300R and fell in love with it as well. The only thing I don't like about the AP is it's heavy depreciation. Another issue is I already got another rose gold watch which I will never sell-PP 5711R. I don't have other white gold watch so Im reluctant to let the Calatrava go!Shame I cannot afford to have another watch and my safe at home is full!!Many thanks for all your comment!
