Independent watchmaking is often regarded as something that is out of the reach for most watch lovers, but for those willing to do more extensive research, there are some more interesting alternatives out there. One of them is?Habring2. For the past decade, the brand has been committed to bringing innovative independent watchmaking to a more affordable price level.?This year, Habring2 celebrates its 10th anniversary with the Felix, their first watch to contain an in-house designed movement. We visit them to find out more about what goes into a Habring2 watch and provide also an in-depth review?of?their new Felix watch.Speaking of independent watchmaking, this round-up also sees an interview with Vincent Perriard and Dominique Renaud of HYT watches, which specializes in hydromechanical timepieces?C watches?that use liquids to tell time. State of the collection and advice on a trade?
All,Been reasonably happy with the current collection - the YM from 2017 being my favorite - love the bit of bling!Thinking about a possible trade. My trusty datejust has has slept in it's box for 2 years after a service and I simply don't wear it anymore. The Explorer 2 has also seen little wrist time over the last year or so.Been thinking about trading the Exp & DJ for either a DJ41, smooth bezel, blue dial, oyster bracelet or a Milgauss z Blue. The power reserve and date appeal on the DJ but can't make up for that lovely blue dial & lightning bolt! What do you guys think - trade or not - if so, DJ or MG? CheersChrissieboy
18kt YG green dial gmt vs smurf
I have a smurf and Blro. I love them both but there is something about the gmt bezel and numbers that sings more to me than a sub bezel. And the green dial yg gmt sings much more to me then the smurf.I know a lot of u have the smurf in mind when thinking of a grail but....Thinking about swapping my smurf for the yg green dial gmt.Watch for watch. No cash involved.Just wanted to get my thoughts written done. Thanks for reading.
