FOR SALE:I purchased an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Black Ceramic 44mm (26400AU.OO.A002CA.01) and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rose Gold Ceramic 44mm (26401.RO.OO.A002.CA.01) this past November. I have worn the carbon black a handful of times. I like it, but wear the gold constantly. It is in perfect condition. I paid over 40k. Asking $36,000.If interested, I do have references.
Thoughts on the Spectre/Bond Seamaster
I visited the local Omega boutique and checked out a few pieces they had including the limited edition Spectre Seamaster. Now I love the new Seamaster 300 but I detest these special edition Bond watches. IMO they age horribly and buying a watch based off a movie just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I also think it cheapens the Omega brand... you would NEVER see Rolex pull that sort of move. Anyone else agree?
Quoted 5 months to repair sticking date
Took my 5 months old 5167 to the service centre as the date was sticking and not fully changing over to the next day. Was quoted 5 months for the repair.They advised to change the time to 6 o'clock when changing the date.As I maybe without my new watch for next 5 months could I request that the warranty is extended by 5 months to cover the time the watch is being repaired and not available to me?Had it for 5 months and now will lose it for 5 months.If it was a car there would be a courtesy car offered for the duration of the repair!
