bitten by the bug
So I as you know I was the first to detest the 42mm roos becouse of lack of ceramic bezel. I had the 44mm and even though I have a 7 inch wrist I struggled with size. I also came to realize the ceramic wasn't indestructible, ex I managed to scratch and also chip the bezel. So I walked into AP in NYC and this caught my eye. Tried it on and obsessed about it for a week,Literally nonstop.Even though I didn't buy from them they were awesome. Hats off to Ap it's just perfectly balanced and the perfect size for me. I am also mentally prepared for my first scratch, I hope. This watch is breath taking in person and very hard to photograph.

Visit to the AD
I stopped by my favourite AD today and he had a great watch to show me... the 5905P!Well it was love at first sight for me... At 42mm size, it sat perfectly well balanced on my wrists (6.5). The Black dial has a satin finish and look to it... the readability on the dial is fantastic with the slight thin lume on the hands! Love the weight of the Platinum... This is now my grail watch...Here are a few pictures... please enjoy...

The rose gold Daytona cemented my infatuation with rose gold. When I purchased a jewelry gift for my wife, it would be in rose gold. Whenever I looked at jewelry, I would be drawn to rose gold.Fast forward to last week. I was in Chicago at a research conference (I am a Professor) and I wanted to purchase a set of platinum diamond earrings for my wife to replace a set I bought her early in our relationship. We were skydiving and she lost one of the earrings a couple of years ago, and I have been meaning to get her a new set ever since. In Chicago, I found a diamond broker on Jewelry Row and designed a replacement set of earrings. While I wa
