Rare German Temption CGK203 Valjoux 7751 Based Watch Available
You are in luck! One of my favorite watches (that I happen to own) is available on eBay right now. If I didn't already have this watch, I'd most likely not inform you and try to get it myself. This is a rare Temption CGK203 watch that I reviewed here. Temption is a German based watch company that makes about 700 watches a year last I checked. Their Stuttgart headquarters welcomes guests and their new model, the Cameo has been totally sold out well into 2009. Like a few before it, this is a watch company that is able to do a lot correctly and focuses on extremely functional and attractive watches. I will not be surprised to see increased attention to Temption in the future. The CGK203 watch is probably their most popular watch. It combines a classic look that they perfected in the late 1990s and kept into production until the early 2000s. Only 1100 CGK203 watches were ever made, so you can imagine that aren't available very often. This particular model features the gold plated movement,
Should I sell the ROO and get the Jumbo?
I know this has been talked about in many ways, but I'd like to seek your opinion. I currently own an Offshore 26470ST, but because of its thickness, I can only wear it during the weekends with casual clothes. I simply don't wear the watch as much I want.Last weekend, this topic came up while I was talking to my gf. The idea of getting rid of the Offshore and get the Jumbo surfaced. It sounds like a good idea because I can actually wear it to work, but I am just not sure.I have a small wrist, ~ 6 inches. The ROO strap allows me to pull it down, so it sits and wears comfortable. Since the Jumbo is on a bracelet, which does not pull down like the strap, I wonder how fit is.I'd appreciate any opinion or guidance from all of you around the world. If you have a small wrist and own a Jumbo, how does it fit? What does it look like? Thank you all in advance.
Who else agrees that the FOIS is the better looking speedy?
I love them all and I wish the FOIS had better bracelet options but the FOIS a fine looking watch. Clean and somehow more classic than the professional.
Aquanaut 5167
New to the forum and looking to start my collection by acquiring a pre-owned 5167 SS on tropical based on all the positive feedback. Can someone tell me what would be either a competitive or acceptable price or price range to stay in for a pre-owned piece ? I don't want to overpay obviously. Thanks in advance.
Mercedes Hand
Searching informations for a my project I found a complete article on Mercedes hour hand: Bobswatches blog: FEBRUARY 22, 2017 BY PAUL ALTIERIand Quora website: Why-do-Rolexes-have-the-Mercedes-symbol-on-themthat showes the back of the hand and a video on putting the tritium.(I can't add links for rules of this forum)and in other web sites I couldn't find more than this.At the end of the first writing PAUL ALTIERI says:....Rolex has not released any official information in regards to the shape of the hour hand and its history of origin, various theories will continue.... Is it true? I hope to find here more information on this legendthank you in advance for sharing your knowledge Andrea
