GIVEAWAY UNIQ P-47 Chronograph Watch
Not all affordable timepieces need to be mainstream and mass-produced. For those who prefer a Swiss quartz chronograph watch that is well designed we present the P-47 by Georgia-based (the country) UNIQ. The watch is inspired by the P-47 Thunderbolt airplane and the dial of the watch is clearly instrument panel-inspired. It has a 47mm wide steel case and dial that is available in several colors including black, blue, and military green. The legible dial has some attractive details and we like the legible SuperLumiNova coated hands and hour markers. Over the dial is an AR coated sapphire crystal.UNIQ supplies each P-47 watch with a pilot-style leather strap as well as a nylon ZULU strap. An attractive pilot watch, the P-47 is also something few people will have. Retail price for the UNIQ P-47 is $470, and you can enter for a chance to win one this month on watches-dealer.To Enter You Must: 1. Piaget Altiplano 38mm 900P Is Newest World's Thinnest Mechanical Watch At 3.65mm
For 2014 Piaget will once again hold and retain the title of "world's thinnest watch" with the Altiplano 38mm 900P. For years now Piaget has been releasing mechanical watch after mechanical watch exclusively dedicated to the notion of being the thinnest possible of that type. This practice began long ago with lots of success. In 1957 they released the 2mm thick 9P movement and in 1960 they released the famed 12p automatic movement. Sometimes Piaget gets de-throned in a particular "ultra-thin" category by another brand who is able to cut out another fraction of a millimeter from the thickness of a case or movement. This year they take the title of absolute world's thinnest mechanical watch back with this actually very ultra-thin creation that is just 3.65mm thick, and whose movement is merged with the case.Over the last few years who has been the most interested in "ultra-thin?" Pretty much everyone. The notion of a very thin mechanical watch has been a haute horology trend as of late.

Anyone pick up one of these? Like the yellow and the orange ones, figure they would be unloved and get one down the road at a discount.
I'm looking to buy a speedmaster
I own a Rolex sub and the 40mm case size is perfect. I find the omega speedmaster dial beautiful. I was ready to purchase a 3510.50 until I read some negative reviews and found out the case is a 38mm. Which omega speedmaster model is the larger case size around 40mm that isn't the more expensive moon model. I wanted a daily watch to wear around the $1,500 range. Im a bit confused to how omega states the case size. Thanks in advance
When will the PAM base models stop producing?
Hi guys,New around here after roaming for quite some time. The ETA movements, PAM 112, 000, 005 etc - I've heard will stop produce soon.Since most of them are getting replaced by Panerai's inhouse movements, and I've also heard it before that its getting harder and harder to find the base models from AD's.So my questions are;1. When do you think these models will stop producing? 2. Do you think it's a good idea to hold on to them for a couple of years? Since if they stop producing they will obviously be hard to come across -> second hand price rise.Cheers!
