Hands-On: General Douglas MacArthur's Personal Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, Complete With Lacquered
In April of this year, while searching through an Antiquorum catalog, we discovered one of the coolest examples of one of the coolest watches of all time – a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso owned by none other than General Douglas MacArthur. We've always known the Reverso to be the choice of several great men, but it was unknown that General MacArthur in particular wore the watch. We knew the MacArthur Reverso would have its fans when it came up for sale, and we were right – it sold for over 87,000 CHF. Semi-mild rant about Watches of Switzerland/UK
So, walked in a branch, asked what the price/availability is on a 5167R. This arrogant sales attendant says oh, it's a waitlist piece, we only reserve it to our most loyal customers. I don't think we can put you on a list.Ok then. Fine. Thankfully there's a store across the street from them who said I should get it within 6-8 weeks.

Worn and Wound + Tudor Black Bay R
Received my W&W Russet Model 2 today 22mm. Installed on my Tudor Black Bay Red. I think it looks good and very comfortable. Quality is excellent. Came with 2 new spring bars also. They are located in Brooklyn, NY but only sell online. I took a few pics for y'll.
