Christophe Claret 21 Blackjack Watch Revealed
A new video just released by Christophe Claret finally shows the entire upcoming 21 Blackjack watch - and it is in full action. So I should probably take this opportunity to debut the watch to you. You are gonna love this one. This latest wild wonder watch by master watch maker Christophe Claret is imbued with three different casino games, and you can play blackjack with it, as the watch as the dealer. It also lets you play roulette and dice.I first wrote about the Christophe Claret 21 Blackjack watch here with more information on just how excited you should be (and why you can't likely afford it). Now for the full scoop. Once I get my hands on it I will get your minds dirty with Christophe Claret watch porn. The 21 Blackjack is the third watch to bear the Christophe Claret name - as his past involved being the "inside guy," making movement for other brands. First was the Dual Tow from 2010, then the Adagio from 2011, and now the 21 Blackjack also for 2011. The spectacular "gamer's" wa

What age did you buy your 1st Patek?
Hello everyone here at TRF! Within the last month I finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first Patek Philippe. It is a beautiful yellow gold Calatrava on a brown crock strap. I absolutely LOVE it and will be posting a few pics on line here soon. This piece has always been my grail and I was very pleased to be able to have purchased it at the age of 42. Which brings me to my question to all of you PP owners........how old were you when you acquired your first Patek?I know a first Rolex tends to be purchased at a younger age due to relative affordability compared to PP. But I expect to find that Patek to be purchased later in ones life either due to the significant financial commitment that PP requires, or simply due to the style. But perhaps I am mistaken. In anycase, please take a minute to reply to this message and let me know how old you were when you got your first Patek. Thanks!
Not Walmart but Costco!
A few days ago one of the members asked if you would buy a Rolex from Walmart. The attached photo was snapped by my wife at the Westbury Long Island Costco Store! Not Walmart but close! A yg Daytona with a black dial.I was shocked but she said Why wouldn't anyone buy one from Costco? After all you can wear it for a year and return it for a full cash refund She has a point! Marc
Wow - Today's Sotheby's Auction - Hulk went for $13,750!
I forgot how I found out (ah, checked my browser, banner ad from Chrono24), but a few days ago I had seen a link for a Hulk slated for auction at Sotheby's. I was dreaming that it might be a secret and a good deal. Pffft! ha. funny. The auction was today, a whole bunch of watches -- Hublot, AP, PP, and Rolex. Was interesting to peek in on it from my cell phone.Seemed like there were some pretty good deals here and there. Thought I'd mention the 116610LV, a G series from 2010 only with box went for $13,750 with the hammer premium! I think I'm missing something though -- did this one have some provenance to it??<--it must have, I didn't log in so I couldn't see the history / condition report. Anyone care to clarify here?.sothebys/en/auctions/...7/lot.871.htmlYeah, and to add some icing on the cake, for all of us non-Hulkster but circling in the waters for one -- 2 years ago same auction one went for $6750. .sothebys/en/search-re...yword=116610LVI think this was a decent deal - $5250 fo
