The new Breitling watch is accompanied by a barenia or crocodile leather strap
Animating the functions is an automatic Breitling 25B calibre movement which comes with the COSC-certification. It incorporates a rotor, encouraged by the rims of the new Continental GT. Embellished with 38 jewels, the mechanism oscillates at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The new Breitling watch is accompanied by a barenia or crocodile leather strap. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a rubber strap or speed metallic bracelet.
I was stupid enough...
I was in Tysons Corner, VA area for meetings, stopped by the Mall for lunch and walked into to the only AP AD in the area. I know the sales people very well and they take good care of me. I really wanted to try on the 39mm Explorer one more time before pulling the trigger on one, but there I was drifting towards the AP case instead...I got to try on the new 44mm carbon chronograph in black, very nice piece, especially the weight in relation to the size, but then sales guy - knowing me - insisted that I try on the classic 42mm rose gold chrono. And I was stupid enough to agree... Wow! Just wow! I'm totally blown away by that watch!I never see myself dropping $55,000 (regardless of what the discount might end up being) given how many kids I have (and yet to put through college), but if I could spare the change I would surely strongly considering awarding myself of of these pieces. What a wonderful piece of horology![photo cred: AP's website]
Speedmaster reduced (#3510)
I finally tried on the reduced size Men's Omega speedmaster reduced 3510 model, which I have always admired. The smaller size 38m looks good on my wrist. I also like that you can wind this watch without pulling the crown one click compared to the Rolex. Although, the only issue I found was that it felt too light compared to the GMTIIs and Subs. Still, the 1,700 dollars price with a 3 year full warranty from a respected shop is much less than the 4k used Rolex watches they had. Also the bracelet just seem too light. For those who have this watch: -How is the movement/overall function of this watch...?-Anyone out there using this watch as a daily use watch...?Thanks
10% off or Retail
If you had the opportunity to get a 10% discount on a subc date available in stock or a hulk with no discount and have to wait until it becomes available which one would you go with ?
Will the ceramic BLRO insert fit on the BLNR?
So I'm in love with the GMT Pepsi but can't find one in a decent shape and the white gold one is rediculously expensive. Would I be able to get the BLRO ceramic insert? Will it fit in the current 116710?What do you guys think of that idea? Thanks for any thoughts
