Linde Werdelin Hard Gray DLC: First USA Limited Edition
Linde Werdelin presents its first limited edition for the U.S. market C the Hard Gray DLC (Diamond Like Carbon). The Hard series is based on LW’s original The One' model, but with a different bezel, hands, color and dial to create a unique aesthetic. The case, in DLC gray coating, is unlike any Linde Werdelin has previously offered. The case shares the same dimensions as the rest of the Linde Werdelin watches to ensure the safe attachment of both The Rock and The Reef instruments for extreme skiing and diving respectively. The Hard Gray DLC also features vivid color contrast between the red logo and the bright yellow hands and luminous hour markers. The steel case for this limited edition first goes through a hardening process. It is then microbille finished (micro-bead blasted) before the DLC is applied in the coating chamber (image below). This ensures an even tougher case coating. Next, the case is blasted with approximately one-thousandth of a millimeter of carbon to create
A Story of Betrayal
I've always considered myself a Royal Oak purist and felt that I could never betray my love for the 39mm original Royal Oak. Well, I was wrong. I just received this gorgeous 15400 and couldn't be happier. This watch is something else in person. Excuse the iPhone pics. More to come. 5711/1a availability
Lately I've been considering to add a 5711/1a to my collection. But living in Australia, our lack of ss models from rolex's to pp's are very very limited so I was thinking of getting it overseas when I travel, most likely hong kong or europe or britain. But my friend in hong kong informed me that even in hong kong, where the selection is astounding, it will still be a little difficult to locate one at an AD. So I was wondering what the availability of the 5711/1a model is in other countries. Thanks
Case of Buyers Remorse...
Hi everyone.Just joined the Rolex club, the Sub club to be exact. Now I've got a bad case of buyers remorse.I was so excited when the Sub arrived.BNIB with stickers still applied and everything.I tried the watch on one time and that was it.Have had the watch for for over one week, taken out one time, put back in the box, and put away.Anyone else get hit with buyers remorse? If so, what did you do?You return the watch or flip it?
