Close-Up: The Boutique-Exclusive Ulysse Nardin Blue Toro
The Ulysse Nardin Blue Toro watch a perpetual calendar with dual-time function powered by an in-house movement is the definition of “hard-to-get:” The watch (Ref. 326-01LE) is limited to 99 pieces and available exclusively in Ulysse Nardin boutiques. Scroll down for more info and photos. The Ulysse Nardin Blue Toro limited edition counts among its features a bezel and pushers made of ceramic and skeletonized hands designed to prevent easy reading of the dial’s calendar functions. Watch damage dilemma
I have managed to damage my 5170J - whilst the picture isn't the best you can see two deep indents on the edge of the case close to 3 o'clock.I think this was due to my metal cuff link banging and then indenting into the case.Whilst it looks relatively minor to the naked eye - it keeps catching my eye.The question is a) do i send it to Patek for it to be polished or b) do i leave it as it is.Do Patek polish cases without servicing a watch and will it have an impact on the resale value (although i do not have any plans to sell it) if it has been refurbished?Any input is appreciated.
Green or Champagne Dial?
Which would you choose and why? Watch will be purchased new from an AD. I'm really struggling with this decision for some reason. Thanks for all your opinions!! Cheers,Andrew
