Anyone pick up one of these? Like the yellow and the orange ones, figure they would be unloved and get one down the road at a discount.
Ask: Can't set the date when both hands are up, is it normal?
Hi, I can't seem to move the date wheel when both the hour and minute hands are pointing upwards, for example 12. I had to move the hour and minute hands to point down at about 4 to 8 first before I can adjust the date wheel. Is it normal? I can adjust the date anytime with my rolex with the hour and minute hand anywhere.Any advice is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Who has gotten "the call" without AD relationship?
I will openly admit that I am starting this thread for self-assurance, but hopefully it will prove useful to others as well.I have called ADs all around the USA in an attempt to get on as many lists as possible for the Daytona 116500ln. Most have been brutally honest in that it would be impossible or at least take 5+ years, however a few were optimistic that they could make something happen within a somewhat reasonable timeframe given the popularity of the model (a few months to a year.)From what I've read on this forum (many here are more knowledgeable than most AD's) trying to obtain a ceramic Daytona without a well established relationship with an AD is simply impossible. However, I have seen a few members state that hope is not lost, and if you're willing to branch and and be persistent, eventually your hard work will pay off.So now I'm asking for testimonies from those of you who have been in my situation, and have actually seen results. After getting on a list with no prior hi
Waiting List for New Pepsi.
This might seem like an over-innocent and naive posting, but I would appreciate some of the wisdom of this forum.Re. The new steel Pepsi on Jubilee. My son has just returned from his local AD in Santa Monica, where the lady assistant was little more than rude and obstructive. My son is a film composer and watch enthusiast, who has been waiting for some time to pounce on his ideal first Rolex. (Ironically, he wrote the music in a recent Tudor advert and has written music for Bremont videos.)What he wants to do is put his name down for one of these new pieces and is struggling to find a willing AD. Although I have been a Rolex owner for over 30 years, as I am in the UK I can offer him little advice.I would be grateful if anyone could PM me with any who to contact. He is more than willing to travel to any good AD, so location is secondary.Thank you in advance.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
