Trusted watchmaker in New Jersey
Omega Speedmaster 3570.50 custom project to change dial and hands to mitsukoshi. Anyone know a great watchmaker in New Jersey who can be trusted to do this???
Its finally here!
Finally got my Speedmaster Pro after waiting for over a week! I've been reading a lot of reviews on this watch and I figured its an essential watch to have. I really wanted it on leather but got it on a bracelet after reading a post on this forum which made a lot of sense cause an omega bracelet will cost me more later on than a leather strap. Anyway, I'm happy with this purchase! I wonder how long it will be before I go crazy over another watch... that JLC Reverso does look mighty fine on my wrist! HAHAHA!
I often wonder ...
...what happened to my old base Pammys ... are they with a good home ? being looked after ? I'm without any Pam now. I paid ?1200 for my first 000. The most I paid was ?1750 for a 176. .... we are talking this millenium ! Now they are over double that ! The 176 is the one watch I wish I'd kept, and I had 2 of them.
2006 Submariner With Pre 2000 Dial
I'm considering buying a Z Series (2006) Blackface 16613 Submariner, but I'm hesitant because the original dial was replaced (reason unknown) with a pre 2000 dial ... price is about 7k... Comments welcome
Suggestions for my new collection...
I have a 36mm DJ that I bought new in 2007 and a Sub-date that I bought new in 2008. I would like to buy a few more Rolexes over the next few years so I end up with a small collection of 5 watches that I will enjoy and then pass along to my Son. I do want a Ceramic Daytona, so that leaves 2 more. I prefer stainless steel and want new watches, so what would you recommend that might be considered collectible one day?
