Watches & Wonders 2015 Recap & Setting The Tone For The Luxury Timepiece Industry In Asia
Georges Kern, CEO of Schaffhausen, Switzerland-based IWC watches, stands up from our table to deliver a welcome speech for a room of guests invited to dinner after the first day of Watches & Wonders 2015 here in Hong Kong. Known for quick, sharp remarks, and a realistic vision of his company and the luxury watch space, Kern spares no time addressing what he feels are the primary things his colleagues should be thinking about in terms of Asia and the watch industry that has fared so well in the region, and yet now faces a new set of growth, sales, and economic challenges.Kern promises that a brand like IWC is in it for the long run. How to darken a leather strap?
Hey All, I have the Omega strap below incoming for my Speedy 9300. Any best practices on how to darken a leather strap? Bad idea? Easy to do? Tutorials? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Here is the photo. I understand the stitching will color too. That's fine. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359857997.969281.jpg
New omega owner, and lots of concerns
I have a placed an order from amazon and purchased an omega sea-master quartz 22218000(but still didn't receive it). I prefer automatic watches but i couldn't get myself to pay for the 2220.8000 so i chose the less expensive one, but i got a bit upset when i realised that the 2221.8000 wasnt worn by daniel craig, and it was worn by pirece brosnan. Anyhow, can you help learn about my watch? any information about this model or about the brand itself would be usefull. Moreover, do you know if Amazon is a trusted seller of omegas (even though its not an AD)? and did i make a good choice (keeping in mind that i dont care about the co xial movement, neither the warranty, i just need a luxury and stylish premium brand watch that i can wear all week, and not getting very concerned about getting it scratched, in such case of buying an expensive rolex submariner).
Birth Date Watches
I am also a member of the Omega Forum and on there the members seem to like to collect watches from their year of birth.Do Rolex members do the same or is it a general watch thing. Any opinions or comments please, but not too nasty.
