Return of the Corum Bubble Watch: Three New Models Debut
The Corum Bubble watch flaunting a large, round case and prominent domed crystal made its debut in 2000 and wowed some segments of the watch enthusiast community with its radically unconventional design. Numerous and often colorful versions of that original model appeared throughout the early aughts, until eventually Corum, seeking more serious horological cred, opted to move away from the trendy Bubble to focus more on its core Admiral’s Cup and Golden Bridge collections. This year, however, Corum brings back this cult-favorite timepiece in three new versions. The first two are part of Corum’s recently established Op Art series, which pays aesthetic homage to the optical art movement pioneered by French-Hungarian artist Victor Vasarely. The Bubble Drop and the Bubble Sphere2, designed by Corum in a partnership with industrial designer Nicolas Le Moigne, carry on the Bubble tradition with their 8-mm-high, domed sapphire crystal acting as a lens that both magnifies and di

New Incoming Today!
Stopped by the Omega Boutique today and picked up a new watch Thanks to Jane and the staff at the Vancouver store for looking after me as always! The ceramic case (according to the Vancouver Boutique) is laser sculpted from a single piece of ceramic. The underside is lined with black leather and the area around the adjustment holes is some kind of rubber. The beautiful in-house 9300It's only been with me for a few hours, but i'm very impressed with it so far! The fit and finish is superb and i'm more impressed with the strap than I thought I would be. Omega's in house movements are in my opinion some of the nicest and most beautiful production movements in the industry. My only complaints so far is that it doesn't ha
Poll: 5327G v 5320G
Baselworld 2016 v 2017. Magnificent blue = difficult to read but breguet anyday! The 5327 classic with a suit and the 5320 would look as good with jeans. Busy dial versus simplicity....5327 about 5% more but the 5320 has the instantaneous change function which is cool (might even get hacking one day!) I am sure lots of purists comment on ultra thin 240 at 3Hz and the upstart 324 at 4Hz... which do we prefer?
