Quick AP help for a friend please
Taking a friend watch shopping tmrw. He likes the SS Royal Oak. I am not very familiar with AP and am wondering which model is the most popular go to watch. Like the AP equivalent of the SS Sub C Date in terms of popularity and recognition. Is that the 15300?Also which dial is favored here?

To AD...or not to AD? Thoughts, opinions, recommendations please....
Dear all,Longtime lurker/sometimes poster over on the Rolex side. I have enjoyed reading and learning about PP from the various postings here. I have a birthday coming up and am in the market for the 5164a dual time Aquanaut. Happy #$% Birthday to me!I first saw this beautiful and functional timepiece at the PP boutique in NYC. MSRP for this piece is about $35k USD and I have seen it online from some reputable grey marketers BNIB/papers for $30-31...as low as $28 on Chrono24 (but no idea about the dealer). What are the benefits to the AD route? Is there any other value the AD can add to the transaction? I am aware of the many pitfalls of g
Anyone know what is this?
I was just browsing the net and came across this beauty.. It is sold few months ago at USD477K!! This is one of the coolest panerai I ever seen! Anyhow, I am wondering what's the story with the bezel cap or insert or whatever it is called (pic above not mine) but it makes the watch look so cool!! Only if it can clip onto my 372!! Thanks for your kind feedbacks and sharing your knowledge! Cheers! jenReference to .watchcollectinglifestyle....tion-in-geneva
