2016 Aqua Terra...purchase help pls
Hi all...I'd appreciate some feedback. I was in to a local watch AD, they sell Rolex and Omega. They have a 2016 Aqua Terra in 41.5 and 38.5 and they have been sitting there, in the display case, for a nice while now. I have been looking at getting a Rolex's but I was wondering if I decided to buy the 2016 Aqua Terra , as I do like it's look, what do you think would be a reasonable discount on a watch like this that has been sitting in the display case for over a year?Actauuly the AD rep seemed to indicate, in our chat, that the Omega's were moving very slowly! Thanks for all replies
Bracelet Feeling A Bit Sloppy
So I'm driving home from work and I feel my watch sliding around more than usual on my wrist. When I get home and take it off, there is definitely som movement where the little post thing clicks into the grabber thing (sorry not very technical there). I'm 99% sure that this is not in my mind, and that it was not like this when I put it on this morning. Any thoughts or ideas? The watch is only 6 or so months old, I'm not rough on it.
When did you first start down the Patek road?
Hi folks,Although I've always had a fine appreciation for watches it's really been the last 5-6 years that I've been serious about collecting and learning about this crazy addiction. Actually I can tell you the exact date, 8/10/2011, the day I joined TRF Ive been all over the globe when it comes to brands and it's been a very fun journey discovering what I like and what I dislike. For all the various brands that I've owned I've always clung to Rolex as my core. But recently I've felt that I have acquired all that I need from Rolex and I've been really drawn to what Patek has to offer. I was lucky enough to acquire a 5711 white dial from my AD recently. I hate to say this but I just wasn't able to bond with it. I didn't even post an incoming because I knew it wasn't a keeper. Since then I've tried on a 5712 and a 5146 and I really loved everything about those watches. I'm pretty sure my next watch will be the 5712 or maybe the 5712r (or both) and I'd like to acquire the 5146r later on.
Local Pawnshop has a Gauss in the window.
They never really have Rolex in the window so this caught my interest. It has a clear crystal instead of the green I'm used to seeing on these. Then again not really a Milgauss expert. Is it some thing worth exploring or keep walking?Seolta mo iPhone
