Review: Seiko 5 SNK803K2 Military Beige
I first became aware of the Seiko 5 series while aimlessly meandering the watch pages of Amazon. At the time, I was happy to have found some humorously cheap Timex's to buy and fool around withI guess I was just having one of those "I need to buy something" moments. Regardless, when I came across a set of very nicely styled military automatics, made by Seiko, that cost just under $100 dollars, I knew I stumbled upon something great. Fast-forward a week, I received my Seiko 5, unboxed it and was immediately pleased with what I saw.Case: Sandblasted Stainless SteelMovement: Seiko 7S26B 21 Jewel Automatic with Day/dateDial: Beige w/ Black Markers and Luminous DotsLens: HardlexCase Back: Display BackStrap: Beige Double Layered Nylon w/ Steel BuckleWater Res.: 10atm (100m/300f)Diameter: 37 mmThickness: 11mmLug Width: 18mmWarranty: Store SpecificIn true military watch style, the design of the Seiko 5 is very purposeful.? 26300 Variants
Hello All!So Im back in the hunt for a 26300 (39 mm RO), but am now seen a bunch of variants.I'm seeing a black dial kasparov, obviously the white/red panda, the all white, a blue, a brown-ish one.Does anyone know a good resource for all the different ones out there? There are definitely some deals to be had! Thanks!
Who has the newer AP 42mm ROOs?
Keen to see some pics as they've caught my attention and a possible next purchase. Can't post links yet but saw some coverage by CRM Jewellers on YouTube on the updates stainless steel 42mm ROOs
Speedmaster 105.003
The 'Ed White' 105.003 is one of my grails. I've only been researching & on the look-out for one for about 6 months, so I'm not adequately confident of my instincts to buy one from eBay yet, but this one looks good to me:.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-Vinta...item3a77a4136eNot perfect condition, but looks honest to me & that's what I'd want. I've checked the numbers in various reference tables & they all seem good.I'd love to know your opinions on it, so that when the time eventually comes, I know whether I can trust my instincts.PS. I also reckon that if the buyer tonight gets it for around 2500 they'd have done pretty well. Anyone disagree?
Omega movement
If I were to purchase an Omega, which movement should I be looking for and which models would have it? I'm particually interested in the Seamaster series.
