Royal Oak Lady - birthday present
Birthday present for my wife arrived. Here are the unboxing photos.
Choosing the next addition after narrowing things down. Help please!
I have narrowed down my choices and I have seen that obviously the Hublot and Cartier were not really even considered. I want to upload photos of the two watches I already have and the choices again and I am so sorry if this is considered spamming the forum but as a woman it's sometimes good to get the guys opinion. Attached are the watches I currently have.
Fair Market Value for this vintage Seamaster DeVille?
I was browsing the auctions and came across what I think is a beautiful vintage Seamaster. I'm wondering if the Omega experts here can suggest a FMV on this watch. Of course I pay 15% Buyer's Premium + dreaded 13% sales tax on this. I'm going to do my homework now and see if I can get any price discovery on this watch through past sales. There should be 4 rows of 5 watches at this page. It's the bottom row, 2nd from left. Let me know if this link isn't working for some reason.toronto.empireauctions/au...keywords=watch
Omegas and your pocket knife
My father always taught me to have a pocket knife on you at all times. I've had one in my pocket I think since I was about seven, maybe eight years old. Because of this training I've had one on my person for the last 40 years. In doing so I've come to love high-end custom and production knives along with other man toys. Just wondering how many of you guys or gals(My wife carries a sweet Microtech UTX-70),l out there share my same interest? Doesn't have to be some big beastly macho man knife, just something you might carry every day. I'm real partial to Chris Reeve Knives. Fantastic EDC(Every Day Carry), knives in a large or small configuration. This is one of his newest folders called the Inkosi. Zulu for Chief. The handle scales are inlayed brown canvas micarta. Yes, inlayed.Oh ya, there's my new Omega in the picture.
Patek 5711 or 5800
Hi All,I got a small wrist size of 6.5 . Cant decide between the 5711 or 5800 (hard to get hold of in the flesh). Would appreciate if any of you with the same wrist size could share your wrist shots of the above models. Thanks in advance!
