AP Diver Woes and Wear?
Hey all, new to the forum but have been lurking for a while. Anyways I am planning to add a diver to my collection and have been weighing a couple of options: the Blancpain Bathyscaphe Chronograph in ceramic, the Hulk Submariner, and the AP Diver in SS. After trying all of them on, I prefer the AP, but have heard bad things about wear and tear on the bezel/scratches on the case. I'd like to see any pics AP diver owners may have showing wear on the steel if possible just to see what everyone is talking about. Also, how does the AP diver compare as a daily wear to a Sub-C?Thanks in advance!
My New Breitling Blue Dial Chronomat Evolotion
Man I love this thing!!!!!!!!
It's here, my first (and hopefully last) Omega!
Thanks guy for all the advice, settled on the new sapphire sandwich! The legibility of the registers is INSANE. Compared to my other chronos, nothing is too shiny or covered. This is the perfect tool watch. The manual also describes a technique to hack the 1863, which I tried and succeeded, so the only caveat I had when buying this watch is now covered!Immediately took it off the bracelet, then realized the Velcro is too long, and the Nato too chromey, so now it sits on my old Maratec nato, I love it! I'm so satisfied with this watch that hopefully it ends my hunt for a Speedmaster and becomes my first and only Omega. If any one wants the included 2 straps, PM me with offer.
Power reserve question
So i have a explorer 2 and a year ago i tested it and got 46 plus hours of reserve from it. And a couple weeks ago i tested it and got a bunch of diff results from 34 37 40 41 and 45 hours being the longest i do not wear my watch but maybe three times a month due to others being in the rotation. Do you think this is ok ? And this is simply winding it 45 to 50 times and letting it sit.it seems to go up each time but now stays around 40 to 42 hours.
