Grand Seiko Anniversary Limited Edition Comes to the U.S. Market
At Baselworld Seiko officially launched three limited edition Grand Seiko timepieces as a part of the brand’s 130th Anniversary Commemorative Collection. All three models house a newly developed mechanical hand-winding movement, and all three will come to the U.S., market, albeit in very small numbers. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. The design of this limited edition pays faithful homage to the now-collectible original Grand Seiko model from 1960.Until last year, Grand Seiko was available only in Japan and a very limited number of retail locations elsewhere, but now enthusiasts in over 20 major countries are discovering Seiko’s finest timepieces. The caliber in these timepieces, 9S64, is entirely new. Temption Watches Gets A New Pad; 1980s Style With Wine While You Wait
Klaus Ulbrich of Temption watches in Germany is moving on up, Stuttgart Style. This lovely little watch maker's new villa could be right out of Santa Monica, CA circa 1987. New digs for Temption likely mean more employees, higher production, and more watches, all good things from a company that consistently keeps providing up good looking, quality watches at prices which don't make me balk, given what you get. Lets take a little tour of the new space where you can go see their in-house show room, and view watch makers hard at work on the wonderful watches. The outside of the manufacture look like a California day spa (maybe gym, or perhaps real estate office) from the late eighties. Visitors will be happy to know that satellite TV is standard, either for the watch makers or for your viewing pleasure while Klaus himself polishes your new Temption watch to a glowing finish. Pinkish stucco and lots of glass complete the theme of "high-end, high quality German watch" right? Curiously enough

MACRO: WG Hallmarks on 116619LB Submariner
As most of you know, I took delivery of my new WG Submariner yesterday and today I decided to take some macro pictures of the hallmarks that Rolex uses on the case for the 18k gold. Each corner has a different mark...my favorite being the scales with the 750 balanced in between. I thought this was interesting and wanted to share. One more wrist shot just for the heck of it!
