How well do you know your brand ambassadors? Grab a pencil or fire up your word processor and find out. We’ve assembled 20 ambassadors and 20 watch brands for you to match up. Some are current, some are from days gone by. Some are well known, others are more obscure. As always, the answers appear at the end. Good luck! Match the ambassador on the left with his/her brand on the right. Our answers take the form 1K, 2C, etc.
New Ceramic SMP 300 in storage
Hi guys, bit of advice if you would kindly oblige. So my wife-to-be has bought me my first mechanical watch, the new ceramic SMP 300 in black. I love it, and was kinda surprised in the AD when she told him to put the Bond quartz back and get the one she knew I really wanted. The problem is it is a wedding present from her to me but the wedding is not until Nov, yet another reason to be excited. However it is to be kept in the safe until the big day, with the exception of the engagement shoot. My question relates to if I should be doing anything to keep it ok whilst it is in storage, and indeed if I should manually wind it on the day or wear it the day before.CheersCJ
Great News from Omega at last
After waiting patiently for several months and making a couple of posts on this matter my New and over due Speedmaster cal 9300 (two sub-dial 2011 version) is due in the country on the 25th November. As some members know from previous posts, I had paid for this watch back in August before it was released, expecting it in October which did not happen, even though they appeared in Omega Boutiques at that time. Eventually I decided to contact Omega Uk myself last week, asking for their intervention in this matter, which seemed to do the trick as a few days later I was told my speedmaster would be pulled from this next Omega import and gave guarantees that I would get the watch sometime the following week, which hopefully should be before the end of the month. I will post photos of this beautiful watch as soon as I can.
