The Altiplano Scrimshaw features a dial made from fossilized mammoth ivory that is then engraved with a map of the Eastern Hemisphere using traditional scrimshaw techniques. Hi,I have a 12 year old Seamaster which I wear every day (and sometimes at night!). My first service came about year 6 when the watch just stopped. The second service came about year 9 after unacceptable loss of time. The shop suggested that I may not be able to service the watch a third time?Is this consistent with anybody else's experience?If not, what is the life expectancy of a Seamaster?
