Christopher Ward 38MM Diver With The C61 Trident Watch
Christopher Ward C61 in blueAs an Internet-only brand, Christopher Ward is a good indicator of market trends. They listen to their customers very closely, and even introduce limited-edition models for their fans' forum. They've had "hundreds of requests" for a reduced size version of their C60 Trident model, and are now adding 38mm versions of the Trident. There's also the 'W61' model for women, which differs only in a shorter strap length.I like the smaller-watch trend a lot. I really like 38-40mm sport watches, and these ones from CW look great. If you disagree, the good news is that an increasing number of brands and watches are sold in more than one size: Lum-Tec 300M;?Omega Planet Ocean;?Chanel J12 and others too. Also, Christopher Ward is continuing to make the 42mm size.One effect of the size reduction is that the date window moves closer to the edge of the dial, indicating that the movement is better sized to the case. Lucien Piccard (LP) Celano Ceramic Watches Available
I was smitten with ceramic watches when I learned about the Chanel J12 watch. The popular designer watch was high quality and looked amazing with its never scratch glossy bracelet and band. The price of the watch was something I was not too happy about. Like other Chanel goods, it demanded a high premium for what you got. $3000-$5000 for the black or white ceramic watch was way too much. I'd have to wait for something else.Then I learned about the Lucien Piccard (LP) Celano. A beautiful watch from an otherwise fringe brand. The LP Celano has all the things I liked about the Chanel J12, but was priced far less (depending on where you got it). Actually, the LP Celano was one of those watches available on ShopNBC, which is a television based shopping network. Regardless, the LP Celano had a lot going for it, and I wanted to get one as soon as I could. Several months later I finally got my LP Celano on eBay for far under retail.When I finally was able to feel the watch, I was so impressed.

5712 - anyone do rubber on ss model?
Hi all-I currently own a 5167 on rubber. Am thinking of selling to fund a ss 5712. I know the 5712g and 5712r models come are delivered on leather but come with an oem rubber alternate. I don't believe the ss model comes with additional rubber strap and is just delivered with bracelet. I know the nautilus bracelet on ss model is great but have any of you guys who have ss model bought the rubber one and put it on your ss model?If so, would be interested to see how it looks.Thanks
