Sarpaneva Korona K0 Wuoksi Watch
The avant garde dress watch that inspired a sport watch now inspires a dress watch. This new model from Finnish Sarpaneva is called the Korona K0 Wuoksi and is based on the brand's first dive watch called the?Korona K0 that we showed you hands-on here. While highly?evocative?of the brand's signature look, the piece feels pleasantly fresh (while familiar). When I discussed the Korona K0 "Ruler of Water" dive watch (linked to above), the first reader comment on the post was "it's just not a Sarpaneva without the?weirdo?moon face." Perhaps Stepan Sarpaneva agreed with him a bit because this new K0 Wuoksi is the original K0 with a new type of moon phase indicator (including a strange looking face) in place of the inner rotating diver bezel. It amazes me all the things Sarpaneva can do with merely modifying the date wheel disc on Soprod A10 automatic movements. Once again the Swiss A10 automatic gets its date wheel modified to being a moon phase indicator. By the way, the caseback of the watc
Omega PO Chrono Worth
Hello,I had an Omega PO 42mm that I sold to buy the XL. Also, my old 42 is a non-chrono and I am looking for a chrono this time. I have this model (see link) pre-owned very good condition. The only thing is he does not have any red cards. He is willing to go to any Omega Dealer to aunthenticate. My question is what is good price to pay for this..omegawatches/gents/se...hrono/29105081ThanksEmil
Seamaster GMT - Blue dial
Why is the Seamaster GMT with the wave blue dial so unpopular? Saw it in a case at the AD and thought is was a pretty cool looking watch ...
5711J-001 opportunity
Hi all, first time posting in the PP forum. My AD just called and offered me the opportunity to buy a brand new, sealed, 5711J-001...Being a discontinued, considered rare reference, how much do you guys think it is worth? Is this reference worth investing?I think it is a wonderful reference, yellow gold, silver dial, brown leather strap...My doubt is really about the fair price to pay, because i didn't find a single new/unworn/stickers on piece in the internet for price comparison...
Patek Philippe 6000G
I've been looking at this watch and asking myself is it a watch that I could wear.Patek6000G.JPGIt is 37mm wide. Now O.K. it is a dress watch but it is still slightly on the small side. However that 37mm becomes smaller when one takes into account that the outer ring is the date, so the hands and the hour and minutes function is smaller, yet again, than say a regular 37mm watch. So although it is a nice watch and a $18,000 price tag is significant (white gold), I would have to say this watch is not for me on aesthetic grounds. However the movement is a piece of art.I'm not sure how water resistant this watch is, if at all, but with those expensive leather straps...well let me just say, you would take it off before washing the dishes.
