Among the obvious choices, you can find an early Speedmaster, a great Heuer Carrera, and a promising Universal Geneve Polerouter Sub. There are also some watches that you probably expected less, including a quartz-powered Rolex and a Movado Datron relying on the mythical El Primero movement. This is your Bring A Loupe for February 5, 2016. An Omega Speedmaster 'Ed White' Reference 105.003-64, And Why It Matters 1 OF 12 Let's start with the reason behind this Speedy's nickname: the astronaut Ed White actually wore a reference 105.003 during the Gemini IV mission when he became the first American to space-walk, in June 1965. Then, you should definitely look at our Reference Points on the Omega Speedmaster for more info on why this early Speedy is so special. The reference 105.003 was indeed the last of the non "Professional" dials, t
