Off to the spa...
Well ye olde hair spring broke on my 15300...only 3 years since the last movement service. Long enough to be out of warranty. Only choice is a full service...I also opted for a case refinishing. It will be the second as I bought the Watch pre-owned.Afraid I didn't take any before pics. But truth be told, there were only some small dents on the bezel edge and scuffs on the case chamfers and one lug hole. Bracelet had a few scuffs on the brush marks as well. The watch maker gave no warnings of refinishing dangers...So, I figured YOLO...It will be nice to have a new watch in 11 weeks or so!

1965 De Ville Automatic HELP!
So I have a 1965 14k Yellow Gold plated De Ville automatic that I found 15yrs ago that I thought I lost then. Just found it again. I can't find much information on these. Is it because they are less desirable or because there are not as many as the SeaMaster? Someone borrowed my cam so I don't have pics. What is the ballpark price on these? My Datejust 16233 on an Everest Crocodile Strap
I've owned my circa 1988 16233 TT DJ since the early 2000's. Always had it on its Jubilee bracelet and wanted to try something new...I think it turned out well. I really like this brown crocodile Everest strap. IMO, it is up to the quality level to be on a Rolex.
