Need Advice, does this ROO fit me well?
Guys,Trying to get a new ROO as my next watch...I think its the perfect time to get an AP ROO ...Went to the authorised dealer last night in and tried one on my wrist...here s the picture....What do you think guys...? Is it too big for me?? Or it fits me well?? I m using to wear a 40mm Daytona before...Which one would you recommend, a new 26170 (usd 23k) or a new 26470 (usd 30k)....? What s the difference?Best regardsSyahril
Advice on first ap for keeps
Hi trf!I am currently contemplating my first ap.I have narrowed it down to the 39mm ro blue dial or the ro chrono 41mm in blue or black. My only considerations are:1. I have a puny 6 inch wrist and i am wary of the 41 being too big2. I have heard stories of ap in general having issues with the movement. Should i be worried of the movement in either of the two models? As a background i already have a 5167 which i enjoy very much.Is the ro too similar to the aquanaut? Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New addition to the collection - Planet Ocean 600M Titanium
Hello everyone here at TRF! I'm so excited to be able to share my new addition with you all today. As a little back story, I have never been a big fan on Omega. I'm not exactly sure why?? But I have just always focused my passion and purchases on other brands such as Rolex, Patek, ALS, etc. Well just a few days ago I was presented with the opportunity to pick up this piece for what I feel to be a really attractive price and I just had to give Omega a shot.Well, now having been on the wrist for a couple days, I must say I could not be more impressed with this watch! It's the titanium model, so it is super light and may be the most comfortable watch I own (and I own a Patek Aquanaut!). In addition, this is the smaller 37.8mm size which works out extremely well for my smaller wrist size. I've never been a fan of oversized watches, so to have such a robust watch with 2,000 feet of water resistance in such a compact space is simply incredible! I've seen some of the Omega videos tha
Panerai noob
Hello guys,I never thought I'd say this but I started to look at Panerai having dismissed the watch as being the other big black watchAnd boy, was I surprised. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428570041.959346.jpgThis 317 is pretty cool technically. Monopusher 8 day GMT. And the price point (on forums) is pretty decent! So my basic question is: am i going crazy? What's the draw of Pam? I know these complicated models are really for the diehard fans but interested in what the guys in this subforum have to sayCheers!Thinking of a 311 actually...
Just had a call from Panerai AD......
They are getting a PAM00587 in next week and I'm top of the list I had emailed them them back in September when I first heard about the Marina Militare and have spoken to them lots over the last few months and there has been no mention as they had been allocated 1 and it was already accounted for.People don't give up hope. They are still dropping into AD's and Boutiques.I'll be selling my 425 SLC in order to purchase the 587 which is not the best but needs must
