BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends February 13, 2015
I'm sure readers of this site will agree that one of the interesting, albeit more scarcely discussed elements?of?watch collecting is how desirable vintage watches - sometimes even important ones - are still being discovered now and then. These things don't happen all the time, obviously, but recently, an important discovery was made. A never seen before vintage Heuer Chronomatic was uncovered. And what's impressive about it is that it is believed to be one of Heuer's very first automatic chronographs and could very well be the oldest automatic Heuer chronograph watch in existence now. And this month, we retrace the story of how it was found. We also check out?one of my favorite watches from SIHH 2015, the new Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum, and compare it to other worldtime watches that are on the market right now. Then, we?take?a closer look at one of my dream watches, the very rare and awesome Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Grande Complication - only one of three in the
AP ROO for small wristed folk
Hi all, Would like some advice and guidance as I have my eyes set on either an AP ROO Safari or Panda. However I have a 6 inch wrist, and when I try them on at boutiques they seem too big due to the lugs and the stiffness of the strap. Can I have feedback on how fellow small wristed folk who own these watches like or find them? What do you do eg punch a hole on the strap/buy a smaller strap/change to a rubber strap and does it work well? Pictures would be much appreciated as well.... Thanks, Eugene

Hey guys, I'm after purchasing one of these. They always seem to sell too quickly for me to get my hands on one when they pop up on the forums. After one with all the usual stuff, box, papers, etc. Hopefully in close to perfect condition. Very good condition say.If you're looking to sell one, or know someone who is, drop me a pm here or email me at langleyziinet.net.auI'll put an ad up on the for sale section too. Just thought here would also be a good place to get the ad seen.Ben.

Incoming SkyD SS....
AD called me with offer of a white dialed SS SkyD. I was considering trading my RG & SS DJ 116231 with black MOP and romans but the offer stunk and I really like that watch.I found 2 other non-Rolex watches that got little wrist time and were nearing service dates, so I traded them for the SkyD. I am quite pleased with it, and I truly love the white dial. BTW I know my point and sh!t camera is a POS but here's a few crappy photos. Anyway, you know what it looks like.
