Crystal chips. Embrace or replace?
Hey guys.Took my watch to a new watchmaker to get authenticated today. He had it for a very short amount of time while I waited and was very nice, showed me the movement and lubricated the gaskets, didn't charge me anythingUpon taking the watch back and inspecting I saw some crystal chips. I can't recall them being there when I purchased the watch. I'm almost 99% sure they weren't. So it either happened by my wearing it, or by the authentication at the watchmaker. I am not going to blame him because I am unsure.Regardless. Should I replace the crystal or embrace the imperfections as my own? What would you doSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just one Tudor??
So I've got 5 Rolexes. 2 Subs, a 14060m and an 114060. Two Explorer 16570s ( black face and polar) and finally an Explorer 14270. I've owned and quickly flipped 2 Tudor Black Bays. Firstly an in house Black Bezel on a bracelet and then an eta Blue on the leather strap. With both I quickly went off them after the initial excitement wore off. I'm not completely sure why but I think the thickness of the case sides was a major factor. Now I desperately want to add a 'keeper' Tudor to my small collection. I'm thinking of a BB36 which is a size I like although quite similar to my Exp1. What do people think and in particular what is the overall thickness and the case side thickness like?
