IWC Big Pilot's Heritage Watch
Over 75 years ago in 1940, IWC unveiled its large 52 T.S.C calibre observer's watch (Tirette Seconde Centrale) designed for the military. The design and sheer size of the piece inspired the Schaffhausen brand to produce two versions of the Big Pilot's Heritage Watch. The pair come in a 55 or 48mm sandblasted titanium case fuelled by a manual wind movement: the XXL model has a 98300 calibre and the supercharged 59215 calibre provides a 192-hour power reserve on the "small" version. The black dial on this limited edition (1000 available) features markers (minute track, Arabic hour numerals, triangular marker at 12) in beige Super-LumiNova?. Unlike its big brother, it also features the date and power reserve indicator in addition to the hours and minutes in the centre tracked by blue propeller-shaped hands and the small seconds at 6. In my opinion this is the grail of all grails. Simply amazing in the metal and its fum dial is gorgeous. Enjoy!https://.watchcollectinglifestyle...ands-on-review
Went in to buy a 15202. Came out needing to save some more money..
This is obviously not the Boutique, and the 15202 he has was a sealed and packed watch which the guy was really not wanting to open and remove. They usually sell the jumbo that way apparently.Anyways I have tried it on before, I knew it was slightly big but said I could live with it. He did have a 15300 which I tried on.The links were already removed and I just couldn't help but feel that the watch didn't sit as nicely as I like. The gap between the lugs was annoying me, and he assured me that the 15202 would be exactly the same.I absolutely love the dial, the bracelet is something that I have been wanting for a long time, but I can't stand the look where the watch doesn't sit.Moving on I found another piece. The PP 5711. The first time for me to see in the flesh, and I was blown away completely.Have yet to try this beauty in blue, but the way she sits on my wrists, the light weight of the watch, the dial, the PCL, EVERYTHING. I really really like the white honestly, but I have to try
First PAM?
Looking for my first PAM and thought I would get the experts' knowledge and opinions. I'm wanting an in-house automatic movement, black dial, black strap, and date preferred. After brief review of all models, I'm leaning toward the 321 GMT with reserve.Would this be a good first? Is this model fairly popular, so in the event I have to flip, it would be liked by more than few? Thanks in advance for everyone's input, suggestions, opinions, etc...
Charm of Pepsi
Well despite my new D-Blue and current BLNR, I am finding my 16710 Pepsi more and more timeless and enjoyable to wear.Yes it's not as high tech as the other models, but I'm starting to like this old Pepsi more and more every time i wear it. The size is just ideal and the colour is so refreshing.Originally I upgraded my old LV into 6 digit models but now I am appreciating the 5 digit beauty more and more.Happy Friday everyone :)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
