As of March 1, 2014, Biver will replace Francesco Trapani, outgoing head of Watches and Jewlery at the firm. Trapani will remain involved with the firm as an advisor to chairman Bernard Arnault, specifically on jewelry operations. The LVMH watchmaking division currently consists of three brands: Tag Heuer, Zenith, and Hublot.LVMH Chairman Arnault is confident in the ability of Biver to oversee this business, stating that "his entrepreneurial talent and creativity will add significant momentum to [LVMH's] other brands in the sector."
