Hands-On: A Look At The NOMOS Lambda C The $20,000 NOMOS
If you caught last year’s watch I wore the most by every member of the team, then you know that I’m a devoted fan of NOMOS. I’m admitting that bias up front in an attempt to absolve myself of any allegations of favoritism at the end of the review. This is a hands-on report on the NOMOS Lambda, a model that was met with a variety of praise and criticism when we first covered it. Along with its sister-release the Lux, the Lambda is NOMOS’s most expensive offering – by a lot. The Weltzeit (the astounding in-house dual time that sent ripples through the industry) retails at $6,100, and even that’s a price hike from the majority of NOMOS’s other in-house, stainless-steel models, which range from $1,500 to $4,000. If you could have just one....
If you could have just one AP and one Rolex (or other brand) what would you choose? Having a debate/discussion with a friend and we have a differing of opinion and I would like to see your comments... Oh boy this should be interesting...
I think I caught the AP bug
Got my first AP ROO panda on a bracelet and now I'm already thinking about trading my 116613 for the AP diver. I just love the way the AP looks. Am I nuts? Would you guys do that?
Suggestion /Opinion for 6 inch wrist
Hello , I have narrowed my choices to -- --patek 5205 ( 40 mm ), patek 5140 ( 37 mm ), 5146 ( 39 mm ), and 5396 ( 38 mm ).I have only tried 5146 as the rest are unavailable. Not taking into consideration the price and look of each model, which one will look good/ fit well for my 6 inch wrist size, where the watch wont look too big/ awkward/ funny ? any guys with small wrist with any of above models can chime in. I currently have a 5116 calatrava - 36 mm and fit is good . Thanks
Question about sapphire crystal 34 mm
Hello, I have a Tudor 74020 date, 34 mm, and the sapphire cristal is damaged. My question is if the crystal is the same as the Rolex 34 mm is, so as to be more easy to find one available. Thank you very much
