H. Moser & Cie Moser Perpetual Moon Watch
New this year from H. Moser & Cie is the high-end Moser Perpetual Moon watch. Perfect for people who love the look of H. Moser & Cie watches, and want a moon phase complication. Here the interesting stuff is in the fact that the moon phase indicator doesn't need to be adjusted for 1000 years, and that the watch has a small, centrally mounted 24 hour hand. Not my top choice for an H. Moser & Cie piece, but not half-bad. Priced a bit north of $30,000 in 18K rose gold.Read my H. Moser & Cie Moser Perpetual Moon watch article at Haute Living here. ROC - 41mm black dial or 39mm Panda?
Going to pick up my very first AP and narrowed it down to the ROC 39mm Panda or 41mm black dial. The panda dial certainly jumps out but I tried a 39mm and it feels a little small. The 41mm feels just right but the dial color is just that little bit staid. What do you guys think?
Oh what a feeling...
I believe most of us would not deny that one of the best parts of our hobby/passion is the first days after receiving a watch that you have patiently waited for...sometimes weeks, months, or even years.Yesterday I had the pleasure of wearing my new 5167 for the first time...outstanding is the first word that comes to mind!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful information that is posted in this forum, it really helped me to decide to get back to the Aquanaut. But I digress....Two years ago I purchased my first Patek (5167 on bracelet) and to be honest I really never warmed up to the look on the bracelet. We all know what happens next, I traded this piece towards 2 Rolex models just 4 months later. Looking back that was a mistake as I should have just ordered a rubber strap & clasp. Fast forward to two months ago when my wife and I were spending a long weekend away from the kids. Of course I stopped into the Patek dealer that was in the city we escaped to and after trying on a 516
