Last night HODINKEE co-hosted a fascinating event with the Horological Society of New York, to celebrate independent watchmaking and the great Kari Voutilainen. The Q&A event took place at The Varick Room at Tribeca Cinemas. The event started at 7 p.m. with an open bar. The room was buzzing with fellow watchmakers, collectors and enthusiasts alike, all excited to meet and hear Mr. Voutilainen speak. 1 OF 7 Benjamin Clymer led the Q&A, starting at 8 p.m., where he and Mr. Voutilainen spoke of his childhood dream of working with his hands and being independent and how he managed to achieve this through dedication, hard work, and perseverance. I am about to pull triger to buy my second AP. My thought already in 44mm ROO FC since from the beginning i am looking for different material and size for my second AP, the first one is AP panda. Now, my very best friend offers me a LNIB AP GP FC with very good deal. Which one should I get? Is the GP better watch than the 44mm FC? Please give me your thoughts. Cherrs,Michael

Strap for my 5711?
Hey guy, looking to get a strap and buckle for my 5711. What lengths and widths do they come in? I know there is an XS 105/65 version, I have 6 wrists and the bracelet just fits me. Also, where would be the best place to get them from apart from AD? I've done so much searching online and on forums and they rarely pop up.Cheers.
