Conversation With Jerome Lambert, New CEO Of Montblanc
Jerome Lambert is now the CEO of Montblanc. Do you recognize the name? If not you should. He was the former CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. In his ten year run as CEO, he took the wonderful brand (that I am a customer of) from a brand that was only "known by those who know," to a front and center superstar. He took the best of the company (the incredible craftsmanship and technical acumen) and applied an aggressively youthful image, while introducing daring designs and even a partnership with Aston Martin. In a nutshell, Lambert helped Jaeger-LeCoultre realize its full potential - the products merely reflected that. In 2012 Ariel did an interesting?video interview with Mr. Lambert during his time at Jaeger-LeCoultre.The AMVOX DBS Transponder could actually open the door of your Aston Martin by pressing on the crystal. He pioneered connectivity between cars and "smart watches" long before anyone else did. It was truly visionary, and as an inventor holding wireless technology patents, I am very
Introducing The Girard-Perregaux Neo-Tourbillon, A New Take On The Three Bridges
Just a few short weeks ago, Girard-Perregaux unveiled a reinterpretation of its traditional Three Bridges tourbillon concept at Baselworld, signaling a shift in design and material usage for the brand moving forward. The watch is called the Neo-Tourbillon and its architectural execution breathes new life into the now 150-year-old Three Bridges. Combining subdued finishing with a minimal dial design, the Neo-Tourbillon places all the emphasis on depth and dimension, a fitting direction for a watch no doubt inspired by the success of the Constant Escapement. 2 OF 6 Voluminous architecture is the theme of the Neo-Tourbillon. The massive titanium bridges have been skeletonzied, sandblasted, and PVD treated. They arch over the exposed gearing from the mainspring on down to the escapement and are set into the gently banked anthracite ruthenium dial plate that's also been sandblasted to amplify the shift in visual depth. Helping the effect is the crystal, which takes the form of
Omega case numbers?
Is there a reference online for Omega case numbers? Particularly the recent/current models.
Does it mater to you if your name isn't on your watch papers?
Does it?Assuming you're getting a good deal on a BNIB watch from someone who has purchased it, or buying a very mint (barely worn) one that is hard to locate in the AD from else where.Does it matter to you if your name aren't on the papers?I don't suppose that can be changed, can it?What do you do after purchasing the watch? Not sure if you can change the registration to your name. Thanks all
Knocking sound coming from 16710 when setting the time.
Hi all, I recently purchased a 2006 D series 16710 full set, the watch looks to be in fantastic condition but I have one major problem. When I unscrew the crown and turn the crown clockwise to wind the watch or set the time you can hear a loud knocking noise as if the movement is loose, there is no knocking noise when moving the crown anti clockwise. With the knocking noise it does feel as tho the movement is rattling around slightly inside the watch.I contacted the seller and he assures me that it wasn't doing that when he sent it out, I trust this seller so I guess maybe something happened during postage.I have attached a short video, you may need to turn the volume up to hear the noise.Thank you all in advance.https://cloud.tapatalk/s/5a36618a...507859_s03.mp4Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
