On October 5, Audemars Piguet Japan held the brand’s 135th anniversary and new product launch party in the Choice! restaurant on the third floor of Tokyo’s prestigious Ark Mori building. The event was attended by 500 guests including VIPs, celebrities and media. The evening included the launch of a new Royal Oak Offshore limited edition. Mr. Go Mugino, Chief Executive Officer of Audemars Piguet Japan, introduced the evening's first “special guests”: brand founders Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet appeared in a hologram to greet attendees. Historical watches representing 135 years of history were on display around them. The next and most special guest, representing the brand's newly released watch model, was Formula 1 racing ace Jarno Trulli, who has been has been serving as Audemar
Suggestions on these Speedys...Pre-Moon (145.012-67) OR 35th Anniv Panda (3569.31)
Hey guys,I've been looking to pickup a Speedy to add to the collection for some time and have narrowed it down to these two references the pre-moon 145.012-67 and the 35th Anniv 3569.31...two very different models, but for similar reasons. Outside of all the heritage stuff that we all know, it comes down to the value each piece provides. Pre-Moon 145.012-67 Finding a Cal 321 with a case that is in good condition, that hasn't been polished, still has all of its original parts (ie the bezel), and with the aged lume still intact is harder to find...but provides a great value. Haven't been able to find one with original bezel and lume still intact in person yet. Seen some on eBay tho...35th Anniv 3569.31This reference with the panda dial just does it for me, and with its production being limited to 3500 pieces, it makes it all the better. I found one at a vintage watch dealer in the LA area, but it doesn't come with box/papers, and they are asking a bit too much for it at just over $5200.
Planet Ocean 42, are you a 2500 man or a 8500 man?
I 'considering cashing in on my Sub C' and thinking about getting a PO to replace it as my dressy diver. Just wondering taking all factors of movement, dial, price and difference in height, which camp are you in?(Unfortunately I've not seen a 8500 near me to try on)
Tudor on Panerai Strap
Had an old strap laying around and decided to use a pocket knife to try to get it to fit. Does it look silly? Honest feedbackSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
More Daytona sightings on women....
I think I have seen more Daytona's on womens wrist than men on tv lately. This morning on Good Morning America. Lara Spencer wears a 18k Daytona very well.
