Follow watches-dealer At The SIHH 2014 Watch Show
January 20, 2014 is the first day of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva representing some of the most important watch brands around. It is one of the two major watch trade shows of the year, the other being Baselworld. SIHH includes all of The Richemont Group brands plus other SIHH partners for a total of 16 watch and jewelry makers: Cartier, Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Sohne, Richard Mille, Panerai, IWC, and more. In addition to the brands displaying at SIHH, we will encounter other interesting watchmakers displaying their novelties in Geneva.The watches-dealer team will once again attend the invitation-only event in Switzerland to bring you lots of hands-on coverage and video of the latest and greatest watches for 2014. I am in the market for a stainless steel watch that could be worn daily, doesn't attract as much attention as perhaps a gold rolex but at the same time (for me) carries prestige. Both watches will achieve the prestige factor - I'm curious about overall ownership, reliability, feel... Anything you guys can remark would be appreciated. I would purchase new or very slightly preowned so no worries about warranty etc. Please let me know your thoughts - I would get the jumbo AP as the VC is 43mm and I like larger watches. Has there ever been a Speedmaster with the following characteristics...1. Orange Dial2. Quartz Mov't3. 6,9,12 Chrono dials4. 3 oclock date window5. Arabic NumeralsI met someone with this watch, and it just looked off for some reason. He said it was a gift. He had replaced the bracelet with a non-standard model so this info is worthless.Just wondering, thanks!

I got my BLNR a few weeks ago now, I got it sized (initially w/ 2 links out), even with the easy-link being utilized it was too loose. I then stopped at another AD yesterday and got another link out, now it's too tight. (With the easy link not being engaged)Is there a half link that I can purchase from an AD? My thought process is it will just make it big enough for me. If not, I'm not exactly sure how long I will be keeping this thing. However, it looks great!Thanks!
