Affordable Vintage: 1970's Longines Chronograph Diver
What if I told you that you could get an over-sized colorful chronograph from a celebrated marque with a legendary movement and a super compressor case for under $3k. Impossible? Not with Longines’ chronograph diver.Introduced in 1969 and produced in the 70’s, this was Longines’ top sport watch. It was available in three different configurations. Black dial with white subdials at 3 and 9 and a black subdial at 6, This variant is the first execution and comes with a rotating countdown bezel. X-33: help with setting time, cleaning needed?
I have an X-33 that was part of a military group buy with special engraving that has sentimental meaning.I believe the proper way of setting time was to set the digital time, then the analog hands would sync. While setting the digital time is easy, the analog hands aren't syncing properly.Any hints or suggestions?Has anyone here used LAWW for quartz watches? I live in Pasadena area and am less than 10 miles away, but wanted to troubleshoot for easy things myself. Thanks!
Difficult to wind my Patek 5119j
I am finding that the manual winding is a little tight. The same is true of my Omega Speedmaster. Is that just how it is? I bought the Patek in February, it is new to me, but I have had manual winds before and it feels tight even at first.I will say it keeps time fine.
