Elephant or Grey Ti44
I have been thinking of purchasing the Elephant, but just noticed the Grey titanium piece. I have yet to try on the 44, but I have a 7.25 wrist so I should be able to pull it off. Any thoughts from you guys as to which is the nicer piece for a grey watch?
Breitling watch saves the life of stranded hunter
Breitling watch saves the life of stranded hunterEmergency Transmitter in Watch Alerts Alaska Rescuers to Missing Man's Location A watch made more than a fashion statement when it helped save a stranded hunter's life in Alaska on August 15th. Mark Spencer was hunting grizzly bears about 120 miles northeast of Anchorage when he became stuck in the wilderness along Susitna River in the heart of the infamous Alaska Range. Unable to navigate the hazardous Class 6 rapids of the Susitna River, his float-hunting party had diverted the course of their boat to the Tyone River. But the river route proved too shallow for their vessel. Spencer left his group and went searching for help on the glaciated Susitna River and struck a shoal tearing a hole in the vessel sinking it in the icy waters. Breitling is the number one piece of equipment I always bring with me , said Spe

Seamaster Professional Servicing
I am too lazy to dig out my owners manual (BIG RED TOME) to see how often the servicing is suggested by OMEGA. I got this watch in 2003 I think so she is almost 4 years old. Are we looking at the Rolex 5 to 7 year kind of plan? And where do you SMP fans send your SMP's?
Finally pulled the trigger
My first rolex was a datejust 41. I liked it but wasn't really into it that much. After I saw the pictures of the skydweller i've always wanted one but they were very difficult to get from the AD. I didn't really like the blue dial that much and prefered the blackor white dial. Finally on TRF I saw one for a small and reasonable premium to I pulled the trigger and traded the DJ for it. I have a AP15400 black dial so white is perfect. Long story short, while researching the skydweller on this site, I got caught by the daytona bug. After much deliberation between a white/black/wg one, finally decided to get the black dial. Just got it in yesterday and it looks fantastic. To be perfectly honest, I'm not a huge Rolex fan as I'm still much more of a dress watch person, so these will probably remain my only two rolexes for a long time to come. Thanks TRF for this wonderful experience since this was my first time buying watches from non-ADs and first time trading as well. Every bit the pleasu
