Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Juan Pablo Montoya Watch Available On James List
Audemars Piguet is pissed. If you've been watching the brand for the last 10 years or so, you'd notice a lot of Formula 1 themed limited edition watches in the Royal Oak Offshore collection. Seeing them could easily lead you to believe that Audemars Piguet (AP) and F1 has some type of bond. And recently that relationship ended. Hublot - yet again- took out from under AP's noses, a valuable sponsorship including that with F1. Audemars Piguet is still pissed about it. While it will take a lot time before Hublot can match the movement quality and consumer perception of AP, they are quickly nabbing up partnerships that AP was one proud and secure in having. But let's not think about right now. Let's look back in the past a bit. Back to when AP was in solid ties with Formula 1, and the limited edition models as a consequence of that partnership poured like gasoline in those thirsty big engines. This is one of the children of that relationship. In the past I spoke about the Audemars Piguet Ro
Survey Of The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Sport Watch History
The Hour Lounge is a serious enthusiast oriented forum dedicated almost wholly to Vacheron Constantin watches. If you ever have a questions about? Vacheron Constantin watches, The Hour Lounge is the place to go. I've enjoying talking with their members on occasion who I can easily say know far more about Vacheron Constantin watches that I do. The forum moderator Alex Ghotbi, has recently posted an extensive photo essay on the history of the Vacheron Constantin sport watch - basically the Overseas. What is now the range of Overseas watch models started as a unique angular cased watch in the 1930s.? You'll noticed the finely milled case looks incredibly modern, and you'll understand where the Overseas watch got its iconic looks. Over the 20th century the look of Vacheron Constantin watches slowly evolved, but retained mostly the same character.Alex dispels the myth that the famous ref. 222 Overseas model from the 1970s was designed by Gerald Genta. It was actually created by Jorg Hysek.
Is it just my luck?
Or is The Seamasters and Speedmasters getting harder to find, new or used? They use to be listed everywhere but not so much lately every time I find one I like its already sold.
5131
is the 5131 really that hard to obtain from a dealer? how long are the waitlists or is that AD dependent.
Question about Nautilus Bracelet
Hi guys,Am currently looking into getting a metal bracelet Nautilus. Went to AD today and tried on both SS and Bimetal Nautilus's and both pinched my wrist hairs in that short time trying them on. This is very disheartening as I like the practicalities of a metal bracelet and like the various guises of the Nautilus. However there is no way I will tolerate this pinching. It will drive me nuts. I had the same problem with an old Titanium Seamaster Omega which funny enough had a similar bracelet design to the Nautilus. Wound up getting rid of it. Rolex's on the other hand have never given me a problem. So the question is have any of you noticed this problem? I'm quite reluctant to pull the trigger as a result of this..
