Greiner Taktlos Erotic Watches Make Me Giggle Like A German School Boy (NSFW)
OK, OK, you can't start reading this article on this god-awful watches without doing the following first - I am trying trying to give you the full Greiner experience! Click the following link that will open in a new window. Start the video about Greiner, and ideally have it playing in a window next to this one. I really Gunter himself to present his ballet of "automatons doing it" in one of his watches personally to you.Hailing out of Schondorf in Germany (where else would "Schondorf" be?), Greiner is a watch store and workshop. These guys make some delicate hand engraved mechanical watches (that seem like a bit of a waste of time if you are trying to actually sell them). Along with them being quite silly erotic timepieces, they are probably the most amusingly ridiculous erotic watches that I have ever seen (that yes, makes me laugh like my name is Hans and I am in grade school in Rechberghausen!). "Handmade in Schorndorf" baby! My favorite has to be the Taktlos Golf. Just an innocent
Watch Lust: Bremont P-51
The Bremont P-51 packs a lot of punch, and we say that taking into account its over $11,000 price tag. Built with parts from an actual WWII aircraft, powered by a highly modified Valjoux 7750 and featuring some of Bremont's signature watch making technology, the P-51 is a strikingly handsome timepiece, well worth our watch lust.Limited to 251 pieces, the P-51 is assembled with materials from the infamous P-51 Mustang WWII aircraft (1944), nicknamed "Fragile but Agile" and famous for having been flown in two victorious missions during the war. But don't let the "Fragile but Agile" name fool you, the Bremont P-51 is anything but. The piece features two signature Bremont technologies to ensure more precise and durable construction. First is Trip Tick construction, which refers to a special hardening process that has been applied to the steel bezel holding into place the watch crystal, steel and crystal case back, and central body section. The second piece of Bremont tech is their Roto-Cli
IN THE SHOP: A Killer 321 Speedy, Universal Compax In Steel, And An Investment-Grade Datejust (In White Gold!)
It wouldn't be Tuesday without some new additions to the HODINKEE Shop! As always, we've gone ahead and sourced some absolutely killer watches for you – and this includes a handful of watches that are coming from you, private owners! Today we are proud to offer another beautifully aged, 321-powered Omega Speedmaster, a wonderful early Universal Genève Compax with telemetry dial, a stainless-steel triple calendar from Jaeger-LeCoultre, and our personal favorite, a 1960s Rolex Datejust with gilt, glossy dial and a case of white gold! Didn't know they existed? Well now you do, and you can find it in the HODINKEE Shop. 1940s Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar In Stainless Steel 1 OF 4 When one thinks of the 1940s, one thinks of two things – the triple calendar complication, and the tear-drop lug shape. Seldom do we find a watch that combines both traits so elegantly, with a true in-house haute horlogerie caliber, in a stainless-steel case!
Need some help!
Hi guys I'm a looking at buying a Breitling and need some help. I really like the look of the super avenger. I also recently saw the skyland avenger and was wondering what the difference between the 2 watches is. Also which one would you guys choose. Thanks for all your help.
Double Oh! Oh! Omega Quantum of Solace
I just picked up a few weeks back the Omega Planet Ocean Quantum of Solace Limited Edition Watch from a fellow WIS. You don't know how difficult it was to box up my PO 45.5 Black w/Orange Numbers to swap for the QOS. But when the box arrived, I had completed one of my best transactions ever! I am not only a PO lover, but since a child a BIG James Bond fan. Thus, the QOS was the perfect addition to the family. I love the texture of the watch face fashioned after the famous Walter PPK grip on 007's weapon of choice. The Silver numbers really sit well on the Black Face. I did not know if I'd like the laser engraved crystal w/QOS, but found it to be very subtle. It is only noticeable at certain angles. Well, now for the pics as I enjoy a Martini...shaken not stirred!
