Avenger blacksteel + $5000= M SS Daytona
Hi, I'm about to trade my M serial SS Daytona for a Breitling skyland avenger blacksteel + $5000 (cash) from the other person. Do you guys think I should go for it. I've wanted this breitling for a long time so now here's my chance to own the watch. So the other person is like buying my daytona for $8500. Should I pull the trigger? Let me know please.
Patek applications system
I've tried to educate myself on the Patek applications system, but I cannot seem to find every bits of the puzzle at this forum or other Patek forums. So I thought it'd be best to ask, and hope to get an answer from those members here that already went through this system of Patek. I of course do understand why Patek needs to maintain the applications system, and by no means I'd question the existence of the whole thing. I'm not even a Patek owner yet (just a huge fan), but in a few years I hope to be able to acquire one or two Pateks, and wondering what is the best way to get into the world of collecting Pateks, considering the applications system.1) How to know if a particular reference is only available through application? Incoming - My First Rolex
I'm incredibly happy to be able to say that the DaytonaC is my first ever Rolex. It was just like John Mayer said in his discussion with Ben: you simply put it on and start to own it without really thinking about it. The proportions are perfect and the watch just feels right on the wrist - like it's been there for many years already. Also, the DaytonaC white dial is imo the most beautiful Rolex there is. Such a wonderful piece.
