Aquanaut 5167R
Hi all,As some of you might know I have hesitated for a very long time about getting a 5167R, what was stopping me was the price that I found a little steep between the SS and RG version, but I was attracted to the RG version, not very much to the steel one.But through a friend who has a great relationship with his AD I should get a very good price and add to that tax refund and the price is very interesting.I am getting for sure the 5712 as of all the watchesI have had in my life, it's the one I loved the most and I miss it a lot, think about it everyday.Would like to know from the owners of the 5167R what are your impressions, do you love it, do you wear it as a daily? The 3 watches I will have if I choose to get the Aqua would be my CE AP diver, the Naut and the Aqua, so I want to be able to war them all according to mood and envy, and it seems to me that the Aqua, even in RG is suitable for everyday wear, either in suit or in shorts on the beach.Would love to hear your advice and t
First post - Fell in love with a girl named Daytona but I cant find her
I've never been one to spend big on watches but through a friend who is an avid Rolex collector my interest in the brand picked up. I started researching the brand and the craftsmanship that goes into the watches and grew a deep passion for it. I was immediately sold and decided I need to have one but the problem was I didn't know which one, all I knew was that I wasn't going to settle, compromise isn't an option, if I'm going to spend the money I have to love the watch. I don't want any part of buyers remorse at the cost of saving a few bucks.I looked at hundreds to thousands of different online images of the many beautiful available Rolex watches, from classic elegant designs to the more sportier looks. Finally I came across a stainless steel Rolex Daytona with the white dial and knew right then and there that's the one for me. The same way I knew the girl I dated would someday be my wife. Problem is I can't find a place that carry's this watch. What am I missing ?Who or what place c
With SS on the rise is it even worth not just biting the bullet for a PM?
Even if Im talking new to slightly used with the SS market seemingly booming wouldnt it be worth just going PM if cost isnt a major obstacle or you just want a SS? Ive been thinking about this and historically the PMs really seem to hold a large premium over what the cost difference was new. I know there are exceptions but I saw a LV for $12.5k USD and Id think going for a solid gold Sub a better choice. But like everything this is speculation. I mean how far are we from a $15k Sub. 7-8 years?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incoming 3 piece collection (2 Rolexes, 1 IWC)
Just got my 114060 today to complete what I anticipate will be my 3 piece set for the next several years. DateJust - Dress with black shoes. IWC - Dress with brown shoes. Sub - All-purpose. Thoughts? If I were to eventually add a fourth, what should I consider? Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
