Basel Preview: Breitling Montbrillant 01 Limited
Breitling is writing a new chapter in the history of the Montbrillant chronograph by equipping it for the first time with Caliber 01, a movement developed and produced in the company workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. This is a limited series of 2,000 pieces in steel and 200 in 18K red gold. Look inside for wallpaper and pricing information. With a look inspired by the 1940s and 50s and featuring a circular slide rule bezel for pilots, the Montbrillant chronograph was named after the building on Montbrillant Street, in the heights of La Chaux-de-Fonds, which housed the Breitling workshops from 1892 to 1979. In these premises, the brand developed inventions and improvements that would significantly advance wrist chronograph movements, including the first independent pushpiece (1915), the second independent pushpiece (1934) and the first selfwinding chronograph (1969). This was also where Breitling produced its first onboard chronographs that contributed to its status as official supplier
Jumbo 15202 question - winding
hey guys, wondering if my baby has an issue. My watch was stopped so I wound it last night then set the time. a few hours later I noticed that the time was unchanged but I heard the watch ticking. I fiddled with the crown and the watch started to keep time and has since then. The question is - if the crown was pulled out (or more likely, not securely in position A / 1) would the minute hand advance? Im hoping this isn't a service issue. Thanks for taking a read.
AP 15300or wristshots - opinions
Hey guys,Being an avid AP lover I'm starting to look out for a 15300or, black dial on alligator strap. In my opinion it's on of the most beautiful RO's.Since I became a member of different watchforums a few years ago I feel that we rarely see some wristshots of a 15300or. So, let's post some here... :)I have just started searching for one and I will take the necessary time until I find the perfect watch and seller! In the meantime show me some wristies :).Feel free to post your opinion on the 15300or as well!!! Thanks!Stijn
My daughter's first watch
So while in Vegas this past week we decided that it was time for my 15 month old daughter to get her first watch :D!Her grandparents were kind enough to pay for her very first watch... a Flik Flak .She's a natural WIS though, always trying to get her mom's watch and when she does get it she knows how to put it on her own wrist... makes WIS daddy proud. Her first wrist shot and first group shot,
