Fun at the AP Boutique
Grand complication...1 of 1??Was told this piece is 1 of 1, but not found anything about it online...notice the red number 1 in the lower-left sub-dail...anyone with deep AP knowledge able to provide additional detail. The sales staff was helpful, but not overly knowledgeable about the piece - store manager was out so I couldn't ask.

New to Omega - need some advice
Hi guys,There's something about the Speedmaster Professional that has always made me want one. Now that I am pretty well versed in all the Rolex model numbers and variations within a model I am learning about the Speedmaster. There seem to be several reference numbers for the Speedmaster, and the one I am trying to clarify is the one that is the one that NASA used as the First Watch on the Moon reference. Can someone please clarify what current reference number Speedmaster is the one I'm looking for and also the original reference and year of the original one which was used by NASA (I've been reading the year of production was 1969?)Thanks in advance! Eric
5205 - Why no love for this ref?
Hi All, I'm new to this forum and very much a novice when it comes to PP. I have however watched the 5205g for a while and while I really like the design and how it wears (even if a little thick). For me, it's the perfect 'young mans' annual calendar, the design is clean and modern. However I want to understand why the secondary market prices are so soft. What in your opinions is driving this? Why no love for this ref (I say no love given the soft resale value)? Is the design top far from what the purists want? Are the production numbers too high? Is is that the retail prices are really just gone way too far?All opinions appreciated.J
Incoming! BLNR GMT
Just got the call from my AD that my time on the waitlist is over! I've wanted the BLNR for a while (read 2 years) but never really could decide if it would get the wrist time it deserved. I usually wear AP's, or a YG DD40, but I feel like the BLNR will be an awesome everyday watch that will still feel like I'm wearing a special piece but may be a bit more under the radar then the aforementioned watches. Anyway, just wanted to share my enthusiasm with you guys and get an idea if anybody else chooses to wear a SS sports watch over a precious metal Rolex or other higher priced watch...I am hoping it doesn't disappoint!!
