Stowa Partitio Review
When one thinks of Stowa, there are a few watches that immediately spring to mind. Front and center are the iconic Fliegers, followed closely by their Marine chronometers and the Antea series. But there is another watch in Stowa's catalogue that almost never gets mentioned, overshadowed by its more popular siblings: the Partitio Klassik. The Partitio is the hidden gem of Stowa's lineupa classically styled 3-hander that may offer their greatest value, especially given today's favorable exchange rates for American buyers. As of this writing, the Partitio is 579 EUR excluding VAT (690 EUR with), which is approximately $667 USD.The Partitio was first released in 2008, initially through the German retailer Manufactum before becoming a standard model in the brand's catalogue. That inaugural offering featured a black dial, with the overall design very similar to a watch Stowa made back in the 1930s. In 2012, Stowa unveiled an update to the line featuring a white dial with parchment colored l
The Winner is.....The EOT
In continuation to an earlier thread of mine, I've chosen the EOT in steel over the RG Skeleton. Now comes the tough part, Parting with the cash. 49K to be exact. My AD started the negotiations at 55K, leading me to believe that was his cost but after further investigation and couple of text exchanges with Mike (MB23) Thank You Mr. Russo, true wholesale on the piece is $44.5K. Also got the AP trip thrown in as well as a wonderful table clock that AP makes. The watch is from the AP boutique in Miami thus the Miami setting. My city's coordinates have been sent to AP and it will be customized when I visit the factory in April. Here is a quick shot at the AD's, waiting to be shipped to me by Saturday. Can't wait and will definitely not sleep much. Thanks all for their input. Will post wrist shots once its in my grubby little hands. Here is the table clock & the watch. Traded my 80s 16013 Datejust ( worn jubilee band ) for an Omega Seamaster Ti blue face chrono and 500.00 usd! Is it a good trade?
Are 42mm PAMs discounted more or less than larger (normal) sizes?
Hey guys - It's been several years since buying a panerai (have been on a Rolex run), and was considering getting a 42mm submersible but unsure how much of a discount can be had on these - I assume 42mm is less popular and probably has worse resale value, so wondering if I should be able to get more of a discount. I tried one on at a boutique out of state , so could ship without taxes. And while this is a boutique , it is owned and operated by a private jewelry store literally on the other side of the mall. Thanks for any insight into PAM pricing!P.s. watch in question is pam 682Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
